I like the way you have blamed the woman for turning you and your dog to stone and the way you show your frustration: your boredom on this gloriously sunny day as you can only "watch the days go by".One piece of advice - use a thesaurus to find the antonym (opposite) of a word you don't know and that way you will avoid having to use a word like "uncolourful".

The thing I really like about your writing is the knowledge of the area that you have added, you obviously read the background information about the prompt carefully and have set the scene of Cardiff Bay well.
